“Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair.” Yep, that’s ‘Tangled’ alright.

Disney’s own take on the Brothers Grimm story of Rapunzel, the princess with the very long, magical hair. Voiced by Mandy Moore, the character goes on a new level of musical as Moore uses her top-notch singing prowess. And it doesn’t hurt that Zachary Levi’s (who plays Rapunzel’s love interest, Flynn Rider) voice is scorching hot and easy to the ears.
'Tangled' Official Movie Trailer
This animation film reminds me of old Princess films with talking woodland creatures and freaky antagonists (e.i. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Sleeping Beauty, etc.). Yet like most movies today, it’s more fast-paced.
Rapunzel and Flynn
The animation is superb, kudos to the artists. Cartoons have come a long way from the old black-and-white Mickey Mouse. Its life-like 3-D animation is too awesome for words.
I could say Dan Fogelman, the screenwriter, could make the Brothers Grimm proud, but of course he couldn’t outdo them. The original story was pure magic. But he did incorporate twists and turns in the story, which are all cliché yet highly enjoyable, especially to their target audience (children).

Tangled is a must-watch family movie, great for Sunday evenings with everyone camping out in the living room with popcorn in their mouths.
