Cutie patootie movie buffs/couch potatoes who love to write and watch movies (of all kinds!).
We hail from Cebu, Philippines--there's no place like HOME. <3
We're spontaneous yet timid, cautious yet wild. Too complex for words. :)

The film is the usual predictable love story: problematic yet funny girl runs into a guy she is destined to be with. Maggie, played by Anne Hathaway, is a sickly girl and Jamie, played by Jake Gyllenhaal, is a drug representative from Phizer.

Though the movie exposes a lot of obscene and wild scenes, it definitely delivered a very wonderful and encouraging message. It dwells both in the field of romance and of hope. Amidst the romantic comedy clichés in it, the movie turns out to be something a little more serious.
Jamie (Jake Gyllenhaal)
Maggie is a charming independent woman who won’t let anything get in her way. Unfortunately, she meets her match in Jamie, whose charisma has let him soar high in the ladies’ department as well as in the world of pharmaceutical sales. Maggie and Jamie’s budding relationship takes them both by surprise as they find themselves under the influence of the ultimate drug: love.

The film touches a lot of other genres including teen comedy, medical drama and romance, which is not a bad mix at all. Those who want to relax and have fun are in it for a treat. After all, the film is filled with a lot of comic supporting characters.
