College would pretty much be dull without a friend or someone close to being a sister. That’s the kind of treatment Sarah Matthews (Kelly) got from her college roommate Rebecca Evans (Meester). But little did she know what she got herself into once Rebecca shifts her full attention to her. What started out as being too friendly, turns to sick obsession.
Minka Kelly who was hailed by Esquire 2010 as “Sexiest Woman Alive” stars alongside Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meester in this chill-to-the bones flick. It’s even better watching it late at night. This movie reminds me of the flick “Teacher’s Pet”. The main summary is different, but the point of both movies, was indeed stalking, and obsession on someone. I highly encourage you to watch this.
The movie was less vulgar compared to other exorcism movies though there were still some obscene words spoken in the movie. Michael Kovak (Colin O’Donoghue) was a seminarian and after being ordained as a priest, resigned because he doubted his faith. They ignored Michael’s awkwardness and sent him to Rome to study exorcism.
There he meets Father Lucas (Anthony Hopkins) who is a renowned exorcist. After learning from Father Lucas, Michael performs his first exorcism. After a long and spine-tingling fight with the demon, Michael regains his lost faith and finally realizes that it was indeed his calling to be a priest.
It was an all-right movie. The dialogue was dragging which really lessens the suspense. But it’s a great movie for those who are in doubt with their faith and looking for a reason for the spiritual being.

This movie was epic. It tells us, that somehow, too much curiosity isn’t a good thing. Frank McGuire (Richard Roxburgh) is a master diver exploring an underwater cave in Papua New Guinea. His son, Josh (Rhys Wakefield), expedition back-roller Carl (Ioan Gruffudd) and his girlfriend Victoria, went with Frank to witness the unexplored beauty beneath the grounds.
Feeling lucky for reaching the deepest part of the cave, the explorers were oblivious of any conflicts that might happen. Josh, together with Judes (Allison Cratchley) explored the cave futher and that’s where all the misfortunes started. Watch, and be ready to be snapped, as this movie will bring you to a deep and breathtaking 3D movie experience. Though, somewhere in the middle, it gets dragging, but in the end, the suspense will take you on a whole other level.
So, you’re into blogging? We all start from a scratch. And just like blogging, we start in planning the creation of it. You can’t just create a blog immediately, not thinking of what your blog is about. Here are some tips on how to create your blog:
When planning what to blog, one should blog about something that he/she really loves or is passionate about. You can’t just blog about something because you think it’ll hit a lot of readers because in the end, you’ll get bored of it and you’ll end up leaving your blog and the readers wondering why.
When planning the layout of your blogsite, you should be considerate about the readers’ “welfare”. If possible, avoid the technicolor style blog because it really hurts the eye especially when you’re in the computer.
Your blog should be user-friendly. You should consider the scannability and the navigation of your blog. When posting some lists, you should put in bullet form or use tables.
You should have a clear goal of creating your blog. We’ll take for example our blog. Our goal is to post movie reviews and critiques of the latest movies we’ve seen. But we don’t spoil it. Some bloggers who blog things like we blog get carried away and they end up spoiling the movie. So, have a clear goal.
Editing
So before posting your articles or content, you should pass through editing first. So what are the do’s and don’ts in blog writing?
When it comes to reading the content, you should be grammar conscious. Most readers are grammar-freak and maybe with a single grammatical error, they’ll put you down.
When posting pictures, videos, statistics, etc, you should mention the source.
Your article should have a main point. Don’t get out of your way because that confuses our dear readers.
Go straight to the point. Be specific. Yes, it looks really pleasant that your blog posts are lengthy but if it’s full of twists, don’t mind posting it. It will just annoy the readers. “Just say it!” So if right now you’re on the move in editing your contents, remove the nonsense and let’s go straight to the point
Producing a Blog
So there you have it! You now own you whatever blog. But when you own a blog, you just don’t own a blog just for the sake of having or owning a blog. Creating a blog, in the very first place, was completely useless at all. So how do we produce a blog?
Be professional enough. Don’t post contents that are offensive and are controversial.
Aside from being professional, you should avoid “trash talk”. You’re not allowed to rant on someone using your blog. If that happens, it just goes to show how depraved you are.
When you own a blog, you should take the risks of owning it. Maintain posting articles in your blog because there’s no use having a blog like yours if you only post once a month. At least post something on your blog once a week.
Enjoy. Love your blog. Write passionately. You can’t just write because you had to write something. You have to write because it’s what you like. It’s what your heart tells you.
BE FRIENDS WITH THE READERS! In that case, you can know what they like about your blog and you can cater them to their wants and needs.
Learnings from Regnard Raquedan of ScreenSucked

It was great having to learn from someone who knows a lot about blogs. Blogging is simple yet very complex; all the more fun to learn.
I learned from Regnard Raquedan that you should write about what you love when you blog. You don't get paid for blogging (unless you get AdSense). If you blog because you love to write, then you should write about something you are passionate about, so to keep your blog updated.
In blog writing, go straight to the point. Blog readers don't have the luxury of time. According to Raquedan, they just want to know if this movie is worth watching or not. So why keep up with all those other things? Keep it sweet and simple.
Blog designing is, I guess, the complex part of blogging. All the HTML codes, the lay-outting... it's difficult and it needs some getting used to. But, from what I learned from Regnard, you should keep things simple. People go to your blog to read your posts, so make your design simple, so as not to outshine the articles. If you keep your blog simple, the codes wouldn't be that hard to decipher, and you wouldn't have a hard time. Plus, it wouldn't take too long to load.
So what are you waiting for? Be a blogger now! :)
BLOGS WE LOVE: ScreenSucked

Millions of blogs are dedicated to movies and we decided to feature a blog that we admire for content and presentation. ScreenSucked is just one of those. We chose it because we love how the articles are so simple and straight to the point yet giving you all the essentials. Regnard Raquedan, the blogger, shared to us some facts about his blog.
It really didn't start as a movie blog. I was in Boracay and I just wanted a blog focused on the lighter side of my life. Since I've been a huge movie fan since I was a kid, more and more posts on movies I watch with my then girlfriend (who is now my wife) were getting written. I then decided to stick to movies.
How did you go about designing your blog?
I wanted something quite different, yet clean and simple. I chose green and orange as my blog's main colors and looked for some a nice layout from blogger's templates. I made some customizations later on to make the design more personalized.
How often do you update your blog? Does blogging interfere with you day job?
I blog every time I watch a movie in the theater, which is roughly 2-3 times a week. Since I watch in the evening and write the review quickly afterwards, it doesn't interfere with my activities.
What is your writing style?
My writing style for Screensucked is very economical. I try to limit the review to under 300 words, because I want the readers to get my main points. I highlight what I liked and disliked about the movie in focus. I write for film fans who want to know what's good to watch in theaters currently, so I really keep it short.
The film was great though it was predictable. The cliché starts when Holly (Katherine Heigl) meets Eric (Josh Duhamel) in an unusual way (you have to watch the movie to find out) where they are destined to fall in love after several hits and misses. I don’t know why people are so hookedup with the destiny concept.

Josh Duhamel and Katherine Heigl make a good couple, but the romantic comedy formula plot and amateurish script makes it go down the drain. I think the reason why people are still going in to watch this movie is because Katherine Heigl’s in it!

But that movie’s not an all-out bust. It has its own perks in the learning department. It kind of reminds me of teen couples who are not ready to be parents yet they are given children to take care of. The movie imparts on us the importance of patience and anger management in dealing with kids who may or may not be ours.
